What is the main goal of this socially responsible organization ?

"Équiterre is a non-profit organization dedicated to building a citizen's movement by

promoting individual and collective choices that are both environmentally and socially

responsible"

 Why should you become a ''partner'' with a CSA farm ?

To support local organic farming (choosing food produced locally eliminates the need for long distance shipping and reduces greenhouse gaz emissions.) To help keep alive a farm (our supermarket) and reduce the farmer's risks associated with harvests, breeding and other farming activities. To eliminate the middleman and develop close ties with your local farmer so that he gets a fair trade for his work and investments.
